VINEYARD WORKERS

It's not just France, California and New Zealand (to name a few) that produce great wine, the UK is becoming an established wine producing region, and Fruitful Jobs is working with Vineyards across the UK to supply them with workers.

We have a number of vineyard teams that we place on assignments across the UK, teams are normally 1-7 workers, and work may be for just 1 day or a couple of weeks depending on the job that needs to be done.

Our clients as mostly based in the South West, Sussex and Kent. During assignments if staying more than 1 day accommodation will often be arranged, this will either be in a hotel (often when needed for 1 or 2 nights), or in a holiday cottage when for a week or longer. Depending on the accommodation workers may be charged for this accommodation, but we always let you know the details before the job so you can decide if you want to take the assignment.

Some of the jobs on vineyards require the use of electric pruners, or hand pruners, these can be dangerous (particularly the electric pruners) so training will be given and workers will need to ensure that they abide by this training.

Due to the nature of work on vineyards it is often for short periods (rather than a soft fruit farm which might offer 6 months work), the vineyard work may be 4 weeks work in January, and then a week in May and then the harvest for 2 weeks in October. If you are looking for longer work then we will be able to offer additional assignments to fit between the periods where work on a vineyard is available.

We are very interested in workers that have previous experience on vineyards, particularly with skills such as pruning, or planting and trellis management, email your CV to info@fruitfuljobs.com
